Does anyone know the best way to get from Barcelona, Spain to Jarnac, France? I know you can get a flight by way of Paris, but it just seems like the long way around. Do you think going by train might be better. Thanks for your help.

You could take a night train from Barcelona Franca to Limoges and regional trains for Limoges-Angouleme and Angouleme-Jarnac. See the timetables at www.bahn.de. Click on the flag drop-down menu for English. After you get summary timetables for Barcelona-Jarnac, click on the arrow to the left of each departure time to see the connecting points.
