I have read several topics on purchasing tickets. However, when i am on the order page i do not have the option to print pdf files and when i select receive tickets by mail the country states FRANCE. What did i do wrong.

You can only print out the non-refundable/non-changeable "SMOOVE" fares. In addition you can't print out tickets for children- no matter which type fare you choose. You're only other option would be to pick your tickets up at the station. If you decide to do this, make sure you are using the version of the Thalys site that corresponds to the the country you will be beginning you Thalys journey in. For example if you are going from Brussels to Paris book via the Belgian site....Amsterdam to Paris via the Netherlands site...Paris to Amsterdam via the French site.
