Thalys.com and Train Schedules from Paris to Bruges

Hi all. I've been tinkering around with train schedules via Thalys.com but have a question. When I run a search for a one-way (single) ticket on 6/9/09 from Paris to Bruges the only trains that show up are for 18:25hr which is very late in the day. Even when I change times on my inital search, this time is the only one that pops up. Is that an indicaion ALL other trains are full? That's hard to believe for a Tuesday morning/afternoon but I have been known to be wrong.

I've played around with other legs of our trip with Thalys.com and had no problem pulling up different train schedules. I could use a small hand in figuring out this Paris-Bruges mystery of mine. Thanks!!

You can save some money by using an alternate route. If you book ASAP at www.tgv-europe.com, you can still get a Prem's fare of €17 for a Paris-Lille TGV. Take regional trains from Lille to Bruges. The fare is €14.80. Buy the regional train tickets in Paris.

To keep the tgv-europe site in English and to keep from being bumped to the Rail Europe site which doesn't offer discount fares, choose Great Britain as both your country of residence and the country in which you will retrieve your tickets. If you get a Prem's fare, you print the tickets yourself. For any other fare you can pick up your tickets at any SNCF station or boutique in France--even though you originally chose Great Britain.

Vanessa,

My wife and I did the route last summer through Lille that Tim mentions above (except we went Bruges to Paris). No problems and lots of train options for flexibility. Have fun!
