TGV station in Paris

I can only find 2 at airport CDG, one at disney and one 24 km away at MASSEY. Can you get the TVG without going to the airport? Suzy

I believe you can catch the TGV at Gare du Nord. It isn't a TGV station but it is a major train station with many connections.

Thanks Sarah, THe TGV lists only 4 sites - 2 at CDG, one at disney and one at MASSEY. They do not list one at Gard-du-nort. Suzy

Here's where the other rail sites like bahn.de or rail.ch come in handy. You are heading to Tours, right? Those sites show the TGV departing from Paris-Montparnasse. The TGV actually goes to St-Pierre-des-Corps, where you change to a regional train to Tours. You can also take the non-TGV from Paris-Austerlitz to Tours with no changes, but it takes longer (2 hours instead of 1:20).

Thanks Lola, The TVG from paris to tours does not list the Montparness site. I will try the Vogagers-SNCF.com site. Suzy

Hi, Yes, Gare du Nord is a TGV station for going to Arras, Lille, and further north, so is CDG another TGV stop. Lola's information is correct for going from Paris-Tours, just as from Paris-Bordeaux. Take the TGV from Gare Montparnasse.
