I will be arriving at Venezia Maestre station and will need transportation to Hilton Garden Inn on Via Orlando in Maestre. Hotel will send shuttle for 14 euros. Can anyone tell me what a taxi would cost and the cost of a bus?

Its only a mile as the crow flies, maybe a mile and a half on the road, so I would think you can get a cab for less than that. Let me guess, using your Hilton points.

Both times we were in Paris, I contacted our hotel (Le Littre) and they ordered a taxi from their particular service. The driver met us at a train station or at the aiprot, after we got our luggage. When we returned to the airport, our driver was waiting. The hotel notified us of the cost, at the time of booking and we paid the drivers directly. It worked out fine. Maybe the Hilton will order a taxi for you.
