Taxi/Uber from Salisbury to Stonehenge Visitor Centre & back

Curious if anyone has a reliable taxi to recommend of if Uber is an option to get to/from the Stonehenge Visitor Centre this summer. I looked at the bus option and it is my fallback plan, but the schedule will make getting back for our train out difficult. Currently hoping to go:
* Salisbury Cathedral -> Stonehenge Visitor Centre (pick up 3/3:15pm on a Friday)
* Stonehenge Visitor Centre -> Salisbury Train Station (pick up 6:30/6:45pm)

I already bought tickets to the last Stonehenge slot for the day, but didn't realize the bus schedule in advance (once/hour).

Thanks,
Bill

Yes. We used Stu's Taxi and were very happy with him.

In our case, he picked us up at the Southampton airport. He drove us to Salisbury, where we toured the cathedral and the Magna Carta, had lunch, etc., while he took our luggage to our inn in Amesbury. He came back and picked us up at the appointed time and took us to our inn. The next morning, he drove us to Stonehenge for our early entry, and then picked us up afterward and took us back to our inn for breakfast. Afterwards, he picked us up at the inn and took us to the train station in Salisbury for our onward journey.

However, I just checked, and his Facebook page no longer exists, so he might not be driving anymore. Here is his email address, which you could try: [email protected]

If that doesn't work, then there are other, similar, taxi services in the area. It's definitely a manageable option.

Contact them and see if you can switch your Stonehenge tickets to an earlier time. Then simply use the bus.

You will need approximately one hour at Stonehenge unless you want to linger for a long time.
I think you can make it back to the train station in plenty of time using the bus.
