We're staying just 2 blocks from Plaza Espanya in Barcelona where the Aerobus stops. Unfortunately, I just found out the first one leaves too late for us to get to the airport with time to spare. Public transportation is complicated. I'd like to know the approximate cost to take a taxi from Plaza Espanya to the airport. Thanks in advance!

I don't know exact costs but when we were there we took a taxi a couple times anditi was cheap. I recall low fares in the 5 Euro range. In the RS book I think it says something about 20 Euro ranges for airport runs.

Make sure it's Placa de Espanya and not Placa de Catalunya. From Placa de Catalunya it was about 30 euro. I think there is a charge per piece af baggage also. The aero bus would be probably 5 or 6 euro by now.
From Plca de Espanya it should be a little bit less, since it's on the way to the airport half way on the Gran Via. Probably about 25 euro. From Pl. de Espanya you can also take a city bus (no. 46?) to El Prat.

A friend returned from Barcelona yesterday. The cab from Placa Catalunya was about 30 euro and the driver charged 1 euro for each piece of luggage.
