Which type of transportation to take from Paris CDG airport to hotel in AA 9. Been reminded of that movie “Taken”! Been watching scary EU airport based movies 😂 Need your thoughts for a family. First time in Europe.

For ........, it is a move!! Take a taxi. Where are you from? Worry about the taxi having a car accident but being kidnapped is not high on anyone's worry list. Go to the taxi start and take the next taxi in line. Not familiar with welcomepickups.com. If really concerned take a picture of your driver, the taxi number, and forward to a friend. That way they know where to start looking if you go missing.

Good lord... you do know that the movie is a work of fiction don't you? Just take a taxi from the OFFICIAL taxi stand at CDG. Ignore the touts inside or just outside the front doors who offer to find a taxi for you. Its a flat fee into the city centre. Never heard of welcome pickups.
By the way, the distinct areas within Paris are called Arrondissements. If you refer to districts when you are there, no one will know what you're talking about.

It was those illegitimate fake taxi people I’m trying to avoid. So yes the official taxi stand it is. Thank you Frank and CJean 😁

If you’re staying in the 9th arrondissement, it’s a flat fee of 50€ for up to four people and their luggage in an official taxi.
