Taxi/shuttle from Orly Airport to Effiel Tower

Any idea how much a taxi would cost from Orly Airport to the Eiffel Tower area? We have 4 people traveling from the airport to our rented apartment and I do not mind using the metro but thought I would explore other options for cost and ease. Thanks

The Aeroports de Paris site gives an estimate of 35€ for a taxi from Orly to central Paris. Since the meter will be running, the fare will depend upon the actual time it takes. You will also pay a small supplement (around 3€) for a 4th passenger and a fee of around 1€ for each bag weighing more than 5 kilos.

We always take a cab to Orly now to pick up our rental car to drive south to Burgundy and Provence. I am sorry I cannot tell you how much, but it is definitely cheaper than a shuttle and much less than going to Charles De Gaulle which is a lot farther from Paris.We stay in the 7th while in Paris which is close to the Eiffel Tower.
