i will need transportation to Tegel Airport from the Best Western Hotel Spittlemarket at 6:30am.What is the fare for this trip for 2 people? Is their a better way to get the airport..Thanks

According to the German Rail website, there is a U-Bahn station at Spittelmarkt, a 7 min walk from your hotel at Neue Grunstrasse 28 in Berlin. From there it is 22 minutes to the Tegel station with one change at Berlin Mitte.
According to Verkehrverbund Berlin-Brandenburg (www.VBBonline.de), it's a 5 min walk to Spittelmarkt U-Bahn station from the hotel. You take the 6:40 U2 to Stadtmitte (6:44) where you catch the U6 at 6:47, go to Kurt-Schumacher-Platz at 7:02, where you catch the 128 bus at 7:05, arriving Tegel at 7:13. The fare is €2,10 one way per adult.
If you want to arrive by 6:30, take the U2 from Spittelmarkt at 5:50, get off at Ernst-Reuter-Platz at 6:08 and catch the X9 bus at 6:13, arriving Tegel at 6:27.
