I'm trying to get an idea how much it cost to get from Nuremberg city center to the river cruise port. I don't want to use public transportation so will use taxi or Uber (if that's possible). Anybody do this in the last year?

Not sure about Europe, but in the US you can get a price on an Uber ride before booking it.
I was quite shocked in December when the Uber ride from the airport to my hotel about 15 miles away was going to be $90!
Luckily the rental car counter stayed open late after all.

Try google maps. Get directions from where you are staying in Nuremberg to the riverport. One of the options is the little man icon with a suitcase hailing a cab. If you click it, it will show you the route, wait time, ride duration and estimated costs for the Freenow Taxi. I'm not sure if I selected the correct river dock, but the estimated ride is about 16 minutes and will cost approximately €22-26.

Wild, I didn't know this existed. I would have just walked because I used to live a quarter mile away.
The answer is you want the U1 to Frankenstraße then the 67 bus to Rotterdammerstr.
