TAXI OR AIRPORT SHUTTLE PARIS TO CDG

Hi
We have a very early flight from Charles De Gaulle Airport. We are staying in an apartment in the 17th arrondissement. Anyone know a reliable shuttle or taxi service?

What time is your flight? If it's an international flight, you must be at CDG 3 hours before your departure time. Yes, you may sail right through security and sit for 2 1/2 hours, but that's not likely :-(

Hopefully, you might be near a hotel where taxi drivers hang out. We too had an early flight but we were at the Hilton. Taxi was right out front.

We won't be near any other hotels--we are in a very residential neighborhood. Any ideas? Its our first trip to Paris!

Deborah, we had a similar situation last year. Rick's 2012 Paris book has all the details on page 40-41. I highly recommend arranging a taxi the night before because one year our shuttle arrived 1/2 hour late which was extremely nerve-wracking! (Yes, I realize that was just one company and one situation but I wouldn't want to be in that situation again!)

Following Eileen's question, what time is your flight, and where is it to? If it is to the North America, you do want to be there 3 hours before. If not, you only need 90-120 minutes. And, what day of the week is it? On an early weekday morning, you need to allow more time than on an early weekend morning (when the roads will be near-deserted).
