My family of five will be arriving by air and need to get from the airport to the cruise ship terminal in Barcelona. The travel agent wants $50 apiece for a RT transfer fee. I can't believe that I would have to pay this much for a cab or other safe means of transportation. Do I? Does anyone know about how much a cab will cost each way? Will five of us with luggage fit in one cab, or will we need two?
If I remember correctly, your luggage must fit inthe trunk or you will need 2 cabs. I could have sworn there was a person fee or some sort of airport fee.
A cab from Barcelona airport to my hotel by the coast cost me 27 euros, and that' without traffic.
Since there's 5 of you i would first assume 2 cabs, unless you luck out and find one who will accommodate all of you in 1.

$50USD per person Barcelona airport to cruise ship terminal, round trip?? Sounds fair to me.
www.barcelona-tourist-guide.com quotes 25 euro ($35 USD) to the city center by taxi from the airport one way. And then you would have to continue on from there to the port. You're unclear as to what kind of transportation will be provided by the TA.
If I was in your shoes, I'd confirm the exact nature of the transportation. But it sounds like you're getting a deal if it's a cab.
The dollar is weak & Barcelona ain't cheap (no more). Good luck
i HAVE ALSO WANT TO JOIN THE CRUISE SHIP FROM BARCELONA TO PORT THE BEST DEAL I CAN FIND FOR 2 PEOPLE AND LUGGAGE IS £69 RETURN OF $138
I have also been quoted $50 per person ie $100 return from my American travel agent so I have to arrange my own flight from England
the car type quoted was a 4 seat Mercedes so if you do not want more spacethen use your American company
