Barbara...does the time constraint have anything to do with catching the first ferry of the day from Tarifa to Tangiers?

No. The train gets us there @ 14:00....we stupidly did not plan well and bought ferry tickets for 15:00...there's been a lot of bad planning this year, but...we're gonna have fun!
do you know about the cost of taxis? have read that it takes 30 min. to travel. We're going to have to pay whatever it takes, but I'd like to NOT have that shocked look on my face! When we return to Spain after a few days, time won't be a factor because we're keeping ourselves free. TY

I would think about 30-40 Euro. The trip should take about half an hour....maybe more if it's busy....so it'll be close! Try to get your driver to understand you've GOT to get to the ferry in time!
