Taxi from airports in Warsaw, Budapest and Milan

We are going to Warsaw, then Budapest, then Milan. In the first 2, the airports are very close to downtown but Malpensa to the center of Milan is 33 miles. What is the best transportation from MXP to the center of Milan. How expensive are taxi in these 3 countries. How is the metro in Milan? Thanks

Re: travel between Warsaw and Chopin airport, Bus 175 runs every 15 minutes and costs about 3 PLN. A taxi is, obviously, more expensive. There are many "rogue" cabs in Warsaw that are illegal, more expensive, and uninsured. If you take a cab from the airport, find one at the terminal exits with a company name and phone number. Depending where you're going in the city, the cost will be around 50 PLN.

Depending on how you define best, I would take the train to the Centrale train station in Milan for about 7E. Metro is fine in Milan and probably better than many places in Italy but not sure what you are asking.

In Budapest, if you are arriving in Terminal 1, it's actually very easy and super cheap to take the train from Ferihegy to the Nyugati train station in the middle of Pest. Takes 15-20 minutes. However if you're getting into Terminal 2, take the cab or a shuttle - I believe our hostel advertised shuttles for the equivalent of about €18. Check to see if your hotel offers an airport pickup.
