Does anyone know what we should expect in cost for a daytime taxi for 2 from the SMN Station to the Hotel San Michele in Fiesole?

about 20 Euros...but the bus goes right there as well.

Yes taking the bus is easy, cost effective and clean. espec good if your hotel is on the route. Also this is the best way to go back and forth to Florence's big attractions.

The taxi cost is about 25 Euros. We took a taxi from the Villa San Michele hotel up there down to a hotel near the Florence SMN train station. As for the bus, take the No 7 from the bus station adjacent to the train station. It goes to Fiesole.
