I have planned our honeymoon in Italy in June. I was just looking at Rick's book on Italy and noticed that there are no buses on Sunday from Siena to Montepulciano or Chiusi to Montepulciano and Sunday is the day we will check in to our hotel in Montepulciano. I have a few questions. Are there taxis available to go to Montepulciano from Siena and/or from Chiusi? What would be a cheaper option? Just to take a taxi from Siena to Montepulciano or ride the train from Siena to Chiusi and take a taxi from Chiusi to Montepulciano? Thank you!

Yes, there are taxis available in Siena and Chiusi. Chiusi would be closer to Montepulciano so cheaper. I think there are buses from Chiusi to Montepulciano, Check http://www.trainspa.it/train04/extraurbano.pdf A quick check of http://www.busfox.com/timetable/ shows buses on Sunday from Chiusi to Montepulciano in June.
