I am so completely confused at the momentthat I wake up at night worrying about this. In Oct we fly into Zurich and then travel to Appenzell, Salsberg, Vienna over 9 days.Was then thinking of sleeper train to Vennice so I dont waste any day time travelling and then back into Switzerland for 7 more days. I was looking at a 3 country Eurail Selectpass. Does this cover any small train journeys e.g. St Gallen to Appenzell or the ones around Interlaken if you want to go up to Wengen. For the sleeper train to Venice will it be counted as one day travel in Austria with extra charges for the sleeper. Where do I find how much more for a sleeper. I wanted one with just Hubby and myself.
Sorry if this sounds like rambling but the distress levels are very high.

Jenny, in the Berner Oberland the Eurail pass only gets you as far as Interlaken after that you can get a discount with your pass. For the sleeper you will have to pay a supplement to go with the pass. You can see the prices for supplements for different types of rooms on euraide.com.
