We wish to travel from Interlaken to Prague, then to Berlin this August. Fly back to the states from Berlin? Train, Bus, combination? There are 3 of us travelling? Thanks for your assistance,
The route the Bahn will probably suggest from Interlaken to Prague is via a train route to Munich or Nürnberg, then the Bahn's intercity express coach to Prague. Someone who has been on it describes it as very nice - a modern, double deck, over-the-road coach with a bathroom, snack bar, and an attendant. There are probably less expensive, all bus connections by private bus companies, but I'm not familiar with them. There is also an all-rail connection between either Nürnberg or Munich and Prague. These take about an hour longer, but the fares are about the same as the bus, but don't go up as the lower fares sell out. There are direct, Eurocity train connections about every two hours between Prague and Berlin in less than five hours.
