Swiss rail travel

I will travel from Geneva to Murren and spend three days and will use the cable cars and trains for local trips around Berner Oberland. Then will go to Zurich to depart back to US. May use rail or cable car every day of the six days I will be there. Which Swiss pass will be best? Thanks

Margie Sorry the stock answer for these questions "is you have to do the maths" go to the Swiss Rail website at www.sbb.ch/en and cost all your journeys add a few you haven't thought about and work out the cost. The Swiss Rail website gives the half price fare as the default fare.

If you consider doing Jungfrau and Schilthorn, you may want to consider half-fare card. It would be a shame for you not to consider Luzern. Otherwise, you'll need to do your math, half-fare allows 50% reduction on all train services, even the pricey ones. Compared to 3 or 4 day Swiss flexipass, you may come out better than half-fare card.
