Hello-
Does anybody know if I can validate a swiss rail pass in Tirano, before boarding the train to St. Moritz?
Thank you.
I believe so since the station is owned and operated by SBB.
Sam, Tirano station is not owned by the SBB. It is owned by the Rhaetian Railway (German: Rhätische Bahn, Italian: Ferrovia Retica, Romansh: Viafier Retica), which is the Railway company which runs all trains in south-east Switzerland, including the Bernina route. The SBB ends at Chur.
But, the answer to the original poster's question is still yes, because the RhB is still a Swiss railway company and accepts the pass.
Thank you both.
