Does the swiss pass cover all modes of transportation like cable car, and their regional trains, and euro rail out of Switzerland into Germany such as Munich.
The Swiss pass or card, with some exceptions, covers all rail, bus, cable gondola and boat transportation in Switzerland. The biggest exception is that they don't cover the full fare to some of the higher mountains. The Jungfraujoch and Schilthorn are examples where the Swiss Pass or Card only covers 50% of the fare. The Swiss Pass or Card will get you to the Swiss border and no further with the exception of Tirano, Italy, Domodossola, Italy and Chamonix-Mt. Blanc in France. If you are buying a ticket into Germany, simply show your pass or card to the agent and they will adjust the fare.
