Following the proposed BA strike over the Xmas and New Year's, the following are also threatening strikes:
UK based Eurostar train drivers. Seems they don't think they get enough meal money for the times they are in Paris and Brussels. Seriously. Eurostar says there will be no disruption of service as the UK drivers will be replaced with French and Belgian drivers who are happy with their meal per diems.
Baggage handlers at Heathrow for Air-France/KLM, Thai, Turkish and Emirates Airlines are scheduled to strike the same time as BA.
None of these strikes are directly related to each other.
