The flight attendants' union Ufo and the pilots' union Vereinigung Cockpit have announced a strike at short notice for Thursday, February 12. Lufthansa is currently reviewing the impact on their flight schedule.
Lufthansa customers must prepare for flight cancellations and delays on Thursday. The reason for this is simultaneous strike action by pilots and flight attendants throughout the day. All flights departing from Germany are expected to be affected by the strike.
The exact extent of the cancellations was initially unknown. A Lufthansa spokesperson stated that they were waiting for more detailed information from the unions.
Lufthansa will automatically notify customers if their flight is affected.
