We are visiting France and Switzerland, starting from Paris. This is a break journey for us and have other luggage that we dont want to carry around. Is there some place in Paris that we can store the luggage for a week or so. I read that the airport or train stations allow for 72 hours of storage. Thanks.
Sorry, Jay, I don't have an answer for you. I, too, would like to store some luggage in Paris for about a week. Please, does anyone have some ideas?
If you will be at a hotel in Paris first, ask if the hotel will, for a fee, keep your baggage. Otherwise, I just googled 'luggage storage in paris" and came up with www.bluemarble.org, which may be the answer for you.
Try Norma's suggestion if you are going to be at a hotel in Paris before you take off for a week and you'll be returning to the same hotel for at least a night at the end of your jaunt. We did this in another European city a couple of years ago and it worked out just fine. When we returned after a week's time (we flew to another destination for a week) they had "our room" waiting for us with our luggage already in the room. This was a *** hotel in Athens and they didn't charge us anything for the storage.
Thanks for your replies. After I posted my reply, I saw the www.bluemarble.org website. It's nice to know that they have that service.
