Where do you store your travel tickets in your phone so they're accessible without internet service? I wonder if I should just screenshot them.
I saw another traveler say that she couldn't retrieve here's from Google Wallet when needed.
I screenshot then save in folders in notes.
Thank you! I'm booking all tickets for my large family group traveling by train in Italy. Tons of tickets!
You can usually download to photos and create an album there or download to your downloads folder.
Thank you! I recently had a local event site whose QR code was dynamic which prevented it from being screenshot. So I was hoping I wouldn't run into that problem with train tickets.
I have only had one instance where a screenshot was not allowed, hopefully that won't happen too often.
I organize my trips, tickets etc. in different folders in DropBox. On my phone, I can select each document to be used offline so that they are available even if there's no mobile data or Wi-Fi.
Oh, I never considered DropBox. I used to have an account. I might check that out. Thank you.
Both Trenitalia and Italotren the two companies operating the trains in Italy have apps for Android that store the ticket. You don't need Internet service to open a ticket bought on those apps. The data is stored in the app for as long as you don't delete it. Also the Adobe acrobat app stores PDF's saved in it.
I have typically used DropBox, making each document "Available Offline" so that I can access it without internet.
For my most recent trip, I used Google Wallet, successfully retrieving any ticket or reservation that I needed without internet.
I detailed the steps here:

Most airline apps will let you access your tickets without internet. There is also a way to screenshot tickets and add them to Google wallet. Internet access has never been necessary for me once they're in wallet.
Thank you everyone,! Your comments have eliminated my need to mess with this anymore. I do have all my tickets in the trenitalia app on my phone. I started adding them into Google Wallet until it started acting funky. But no need if Internet access is unnecessary for the app.
Thank you again for taking the time to help me out. Ciao!
