Does anyone know if the Main Munich Train Station (HBF) offers storage? I know that they have lockers, but I don't know how long-term they are (I need to leave something for a week then pick it up on my way back through). Thanks.

Kelly, unfortunately neither the Munich Hbf website nor bahn.de gives any information about lockers or any other kind of storage. On the station's website it says you're supposed to contact "3-S" for enquires about luggare storage. I don't know why they make such a fuss about it, but here's the contact email-address: [email protected]

We just did the luggage storage at Munich Hbf. There are both lockers for up to 72 hours and a manned drop-off counter for longer periods. It was no problem at all and saved us considerable headache and backache from dragging around too many souvenirs.
