We read Rick Steves' Spain book and was under the impression we could get directly from Sevilla to Tarifa via bus. Looked at website recommended in book and we cant find any schedule for that route. Also want to go from Tarifa to Nerja and Nerja to Granada by bus if possible. Any help/suggestions would be apprecited. Thank you.

It looks like you have to do it in 2 stages: Sevilla to Algeciras and Algeciras to Tarifa. You get the schedule for the 1st stage here: http://www.alsa.es/

thank you for getting back. I emailed the hotel we are staying at in Sevilla as well. they said there is a direct bus route. Although, not sure if they understand "direct."

anyone have information re buses going from Tarifa directly to Nerja and a bus service from Nerja directly to Granada. Thank you.

There are certainly four direct journeys a day Seville to Tarifa with TGComes -http://www.tgcomes.es/horarios_33_english.htm You are certainly not going to find a direct bus Tarifa to Nerja. TGComes buses about every hour Tarifa to Algeciras. Algeciras to Malaga with http://www.avanzabus.com/web/horarios/horarios-autobus-malaga-algeciras.html
Malaga to Nerja with www.alsa.es Nerja to Granada again with ALSA. Have I covered all?
