Small print on Boarding Pass

In September I flew Alaska and when I printed my boarding pass the print was so small I could barley read it. I had no problem boarding with it but now I have a flight coming up on British Air and I would really like to be able to read my boarding pass. When I printed my itinerary for my BA flight the print was again very small so I'm assuming my boarding pass will be the same small print. Does anyone know if this is a British Air issue or me? All my other printing jobs print just fine. I use windows XP and have a Dell all in one printer.

If you are using Internet Explorer, click on Print Preview. At the top of the Print Preview window you'll see "Shrink to Fit". Click on the down arrow next to "Shrink to Fit" and you'll get a dropdown window with a series of percentages. Pick the percentage that gives you the look you want. Then print.

Mary, some of us have noticed that small print (and other things that we could once see clearly) keep getting smaller as we get older. Either than or our arms keep getting shorter. I always travel with some sort of magnification device and keep it handy. A useful tool to have along on any trip. :)

You can also print your boarding pass once you get to the airport (check in online ahead of time, but then just get printed copy at airport). Just another option.

Speaking of magnification devices, I've found a contact lens case at Walmart where the covers are small magnifying glasses. It makes for a great travel case for those who wear contacts because one item serves a dual purpose. You have to take a case anyway, might as well take one that does something else, too.

Be careful if you're talking about resizing the actual barcode on your boarding pass - that might cause problems when boarding your airplane...I also vote for printing 2 copies (1st one regular size, 2nd one larger print), or just using a 'magnifier card' - they look like a credit card but it magnifies small print, maps, etc. ALSO, just read it thoroughly BEFORE printing...makes recall much easier later on.

I believe for me anyway that the issue is that I use Firefox as my search engine. Firefox does sometimes not work well when printing this kind of thing. When I can print my boarding pass I'll try to do it on Internet Explorer and see if that resolves the problem.
Thanks for all your suggestions.
