Trying to plan for the best way to get from ljubljana to plitvice, training to Croatia and then renting a car.
Should I train to Zagreb or Rijeka? Or is there a better option? Also, does anyone have a suggestion on where to find the most up to date ferry schedule for Dalmatia?

I recommend Active Rent a Car in Zagreb. They will offer to pick you up at the train station. From their office it is easy to get on the expressway to Plitvice. They also have offices thru out Croatia with no drop off fee.

Thanks so much. The ferry website was great. And, I'll definitely look at the Active Rent a car place in Zagreb. Do you know if you can drop the car in Split with them?
