Sleeping near Heathrowe

Actually, you can sleep in Heathrow. Take a look at www.yotel.com. About 85pounds/night. The Hilton is very close by but it's 255pounds/night.

We (or just I) always spend the night before our flight back to the U.S. at a Heathrow hotel. I've had consistent good luck with Hotwire.com Just be sure to select a hotel near Heathrow (you'll be shown a map of hotel locations). Be advised that the hotel airport shuttle bus is not free like in the U.S. Still, We've stayed at the Sheraton, Holiday Inn, etc. for $80 to $100 with a great room.

We're staying at the Jurys Inn Heathrow. If you're staying on a weekend night, the price has gone down to 48 euros/night. Reviews on Trip Advisor are very good -- don't have any personal experience yet.

Ibis Hotel, Heathrow is very inexpensive. Premier Travel Inn would be just a bit more money. I've stayed in both, not luxury by any means but good for a night's sleep!
