For those of you who have long been down on sleeper trains, better days appear to be coming.

Interesting read, Wanderlust, especially the mention of the bans some countries are enacting on short-haul flights. Thanks for sharing!
8 have been following Midnight Trains progress with interest. Will build a trip around one of their itineraries when they are published. The Caledonian is on y list as well.
Love night trains. This is great!
Youtube is full of vloggers who ride and report on all the night trains in Europe. OBB Nightjet is beloved, so is the Lapland Express. They expect to see more of this in the post-Covid world as people re-assess travel.
We have reservations for the Caledonian Sleeper in late May. The double room was already sold out for our date, so we're in a Club room with bunk beds (should be interesting!) I'm looking forward to the experience, and hoping for a good night's sleep in the process.
FWIW most vloggers take the Caledonian so there are many videos to choose from
We watched a few videos before we booked, so we (theoretically) know what to expect, but it will be interesting to see how we actually manage in such a tiny space!
