Skyscanner: air france flight much lower... "no luggage"??

I'm trying to book a flight from Istanbul Turkey to Florence Italy. It is remarkably expensive. But I found skyscanner.com through Rick Steves, and located a convenient flight on Air France for $213 - which is about half the cost on the Air France site. It also says "without luggage". I couldn't book through skyscanner- it took me to airtickets.com

Is this legit? And one of the segments at CDG only has a 45 minute layover... that would be fast if she had to go to a different terminal.

Would my daughter be stuck if she didn't make the connection?

She has a great opportunity in Florence for a week but I'm nervous about booking this ticket. Does anybody have advice or experience with airtickets.com?

Google the name of the ticketing agency to see what others have said about it.
Forty-five minutes could be too tight if she has to change terminals at all, even within Terminal 2. Because the ticket is through an agency, she'd have to deal through the agency if she missed the connection. Have you tried Turkish Airlines?

Florence airport doesn't have as much service as Rome, and Pisa is also a good option, so look at flights to either. Skyscanner shows me a direct Istanbul-Pisa flight on Turkish airlines for $180 (e.g., on Aug. 12). Alitalia and others fly direct Istanbul-Rome.

Before you fly to/from Istanbul you need to understand there are 2 airports. Atatürk International Airport (IST) and Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (SAW). Be aware of which one you choose because they are not close together...

Flying Istanbul to Pisa and then the short train ride to Florence makes a whole lot more sense (and it appears cheaper) than a connecting flight in CDG, even with a longer connection time. I wouldn't trust 45 min there.

A quick look on TA shows many complaints about this agency. Everything from no actual bookings to an inability to get a refunds. A lot of the 3rd party operators don't actually have tickets at those low prices, and after a runaround you find that you've been scammed.
Sky scanner et al are good for searching out fares, but I only purchase directly from the airline.
