Siena to Montalcino

I'd like to start by thanking all of the amazingly helpful people on here. You've saved my sanity!

We are thinking of traveling from Siena to Montalcino by bus but are having a heck of a time trying to find out any information about the buses. I've tried the sienamobalita website but my italian is non-existant. Can anyone help? I'm wondering a)if there are any buses, b)where to find information on said buses, and c)how often do they run & how long do they take?

Over all we're thinking of taking a day to bus around from Siena-Montalcino-Pienza-Montepulciano-Sienna. Is that realistic?

Thanks!

Check schedules at www.trainspa.it. Click on the Orari tab and then Extraurbano. That will load schedules for the area. Just page until you see the ones you want (e.g. 114 for Siena to Montalcino). Some buses are seasonal, so use the website to get an idea of times. Best to check at the bus station in Siena to confirm which buses are running the day you want to go. Note that the hammers mean feriale (Mon-Sat), so the crosses probably mean Sunday. Doing the loop you mention in just one day would be a logistical challenge. Better to pick either Montalcino or Pienza/Montepulciano (buses to/from Montepulciano stop in Pienza).

I am also planning to take a bus from Siena to Montalcino on the 114 bus. We will likely arrive by bus from Florence, and we want to transfer to the 114 bus. Do you know which bus station the 114 to Montalcino will depart from? Thank you.
