Can you take the train from Charles de Gaulle airport to get to gare de lyon metro station? Is is ok to take the RER Blue train? Is it easier to take a shuttle?

Take the RER B (blue) from CDG to Gare du Nord. Transfer to the RER D (green) and take it to Gare de Lyon. The fare is €9.10. The fare for Air France bus #4 that goes directly from CDG to Gare de Lyon is €16.50. If you're packing light, go with the RER. Besides costing less, it runs more frequently than the bus.

Our RS tour info only gave info for taxi and bus to our hotel near Gare de Lyon. wonder why the train wasn't suggested?
