Shuttle or RER from CDG to Hotel at 21, rue Divivier

Having trouble signing up with the Paris Blue Shuttle so want to try RER. How do we get to the RER from CDG or does it start at CDG? Is this a light rail train?

You can take the RER from CDG airport and follow directions to the train. Problem with taking the RER is handling your luggage on the metro. If you travel light then no problem. I prefer taking a taxi or using the AF bus if I am staying at a hotel near the AF dropoff. In 3 weeks I will be taking a AF bus to the LeMeridian Etiole which stops across the street from the hotel.

Thanx for responding Bryan - so we'll forget the RER. I remember some years ago we took some transportation like a light rail or bus right from CDG. It took us to some place went someplace to catch a cab to our hotel. We are elderly and each of us travel only with a roll-on but do not want to try the metro with our luggage, all those steps. Could you please tell me more about the bus,can you catch it at CDG? How can I find out if it goes near to our hotel at 21, due Divivier ? You sound so knowledable I hope you can help us.

Jackie, You could take the RoissyBus non-stop from CDG to Opera and a taxi from there to your hotel.
