I need to hire a shuttle to take me and my luggage from the Nice airport to my hotel in Villefranche-sur-Mer. I have hired Nice-Airport-Shuttle.com before, but during my last visit, they did not show up and I have to hire a taxi. Anyone have any other ideas for avoiding the pricey taxi fares?

You can get from the airport to Villefranche-sur-Mer by either train or bus, but I presume you are looking for door-to-door service and don't want to walk from either the train station or a bus stop to your hotel. You could take bus #98 to the Gare Routiere (bus station) in Nice and a taxi from there to Villefranche-sur-Mer. Or you could take bus #99 to the Nice Ville train station and a taxi from there.
