Also, we are catching the TGV out of Lyon France to Paris CDG airport at 5:30 AM on a Wed.--what time does the shuttle start in the AM to get to the proper train station? Our hotel is close to DeParriche.

According to the timetables on the German Rail site, the first regional train from Lyon-Perrache to Lyon Part Dieu doesn't depart until 06:00. Both that site and the French Railsite show the direct TGV from Lyon Part Dieu to CDG departing at 05:50, not 05:30. It looks like you'll need to take a taxi from your hotel to Lyon Part Dieu.

Lyon tram route T1 starts before 5am, and will be much cheaper and only a little slower than a taxi from Perrache to Part-Dieu. The web timetable suggests a journey time of 22 minutes.

I didn't realize there was a tram, but I should have guessed that was some means of frequent transportation between the stations other than regional trains.
