Shortish Canada connections - enough time?

We are flying from Seattle to France in September and an itinerary we are considering includes a 1hr 25min stop/change of planes in Vancouver (YVR). I assume we will need to go through customs at YVR. That stop is followed by a 1hr 2min stop/change of planes in Montreal (YUL). We will be continuing on to France from there.

Are these connection times sufficient?

Same issue as your other post on the home bound flight. All one ticket, or a cobbled together sequence of separate tickets?

Single ticket, operated by Air Canada. SEA-MRS-SEA, includes stops on the SEA-MRS leg in YVR (1hr 25min) and YUL (1hr 2min). Thanks.
