We will be in Paris heading to Rouen by train and want to take our bags to the train station very early, then head out for the Historic Paris Walk, then return after lunch for our train to Rouen. Does anyone know if there are currently short-term luggage lockers at Gare St-Lazare? Or is there another suggestion?
Gare Saint-Lazare does not have any left luggage facilities of any kind. All the other mainline SNCF stations in Paris have either lockers or staffed short-term luggage storage areas. I believe the walk begins at Notre-Dame and ends at the Pont-Neuf. If I'm right, I suggest that you leave your bags at Gare du Nord and take either the RER B to Saint-Michel Notre-Dame or Metro line 4 to Saint-Michel. After lunch return to Gare du Nord, retrieve your bags, and take the RER E from Magenta to Haussmann--Saint-Lazare. Magenta is connected to the back end of Gare du Nord.
