I am travelling from Belgrade to Malaga, via Rome (Fiumicino). The connection time is only 55 minutes. It is one ticket (Alitalia), so it is officialy allowed connection time, but I am worried I won't make it. I have to pass all controls (coming from non EU country), change terminals (from T3 to T1)... My other concern is my luggage. Even though my bagagge will be checked-in in Belgarde to my final destination, I doubt it is enough time for baggage transfer. If I have to wait bus transfer from plain to terminal, it is poor chance to board on time for next flight. What are you experiences? What should I do? Which is the fastest way to everything in 55 minutes? :)

When I look at the Alitalia route planner, it will not show me that connection. Assume you are on a noon flight to Rome arr 1:35 pm and connecting to the 2:30 pm flight to Malaga. Some days, there is a late flight at 11:05 pm that would be a back up, some days not. Check if that is the case. If you miss it, you will be on the late flight or the next day's flight.
