Seniors rates apply tourists in trains in France

Hi I searched the tgv site but can’t find if their seniors fares are available to tourists .

Senior fares require the purchase of a senior discount card, Carte Avantage Senior. The card costs 49€ (sometimes on sale for 29€) and grants 30-50% off full-fare tickets.

When you do not book tickets very long in advance, it typically pays for itself after 1 long round-trip (e.g. Paris to Nice and back) or two shorter ones (e.g. Paris to Lyon and back).

But if you have a set itinerary and are able to purchase the cheapest non-senior tickets when sales open (120 days ahead), using the card will not be cheaper.
