Seattle airport hotels

I am asking this for just in case we miss a connection home from SEA, but in case we do, are there hotels right at the airport and what would be a good one to stay at if we end up in Seattle overnight due to a missed flight. We have only 1 hour 42 min to make our second flight home from Europe. This is later in August.
Thanks for any info!

A few years ago on an overnight layover I stayed at the Country Inn & Suites by Radisson. It was good price, comfy room, nice breakfast, hotel shuttle. It isn't right at the airport but close enough. Be sure to allow plenty of time to get back through Seattle TSA, especially if your onward flight is in the morning (it's very busy).

There is a Radisson literally across the street from SeaTac. We stayed there this past February. Clean room, comfortable bed and reasonable price but no free breakfast.

I know you didn't ask this...We had barely over one hour connection in Seattle after our flight from Amsterdam delayed our arrival. We had checked luggage too, which means we had to collect it and then go through passport control. We don't have global entry, but we used the Mobile Passport App. We got started immediately upon touching down on the runway. It allowed us to go through a designated passport control line that was much quicker than the usual line. Doesn't mean it will always be available or quick, but it worked out for us. We barely make our domestic connection flight. Though it was stressful and we were running on fast gear the whole time.

Anyway, like you we strategized the what if we need a hotel, but luckily it worked out. Hope it does for you.

I would sit as far forward in your section as you can. I have made a Seattle transit from International to domestic in less than 30 minutes BUT that was with being in Delta One and being nearly the 1st person off the plane plus having Global Entry plus having carry on only plus knowing the airport.

IF you need a comfort stop, there are bathrooms after Passport Control that are never busy so stop there before you go thru security and get out into the main concourse.

What airline are you flying on? Asking to see what concourse you might fly out of and how far you'll have to go.

Thanks everyone! We are going from Virgin Airlines (Delta ticket) to a Delta domestic flight. Any ideas on how to get to our gate fast would be welcome!

Definitely use the MPC app, setting up what you can ahead of time for your entire traveling party and getting those selfies and questions entered quickly as you wait to deplane or while you wait for luggage (you need wifi or cell signal to submit forms). I'd also study up on the process for arrivals, as in SEA you get your bags first, then go to passport control, then recheck your bags onward. Here's a good video overview https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Am5YIx2UOsw I'd check where your Virgin flight typically arrives and where your domestic flight typically departs and make a plan for how to get there quickly. Have the Delta app on your phone so you can check gate numbers in case they change while you're en route to Seattle. It's definitely possible to make this connection if there are not a lot of flights arriving at the same time, but there is no way to know for sure. Stay focused and hustle and wisely have a plan B.
