Seating Chart for the inOui train from Paris to Nice - where is it? And EasyJet?

Hello!

We are trying to book a train from Paris to Nice in late May. We found one - the inOui train from Paris. Paris Gare de Lyon
TGV INOUI 6165. The reservation (which I've not yet confirmed) says that the seat selection is included. When you click on it, it permits you to request the carriage and the seat. I know from Rick's books that for this trip, we should sit on the right side of the train. However, there is no seating chart that I can find?!? I have no idea how to enter the correct carriage or seat (we need two). The only ticket options for the day and time we need are second class, but yet no seat chart can be found. Any assistance is appreciated.

Also, we're scheduled to fly from Nice to Geneva at the end of May, and bought our tickets on EasyJet. However, there are only five seats taken on the plane so far, and I've done a lot of reading lately about EasyJet just cancelling flights. I'm assuming that a flight that isn't full will be the first one to be cancelled. Does anyone have any experience with this? If the flight is cancelled, we will not be able to re-book, as we need to get back to Nice for our flight home. Any thoughts on this are appreciated too, but my first priority is figuring out this seating chart for the train to Nice. Thanks so much!

I can't speak to the train, but re: EasyJet (and flights on all airlines)— Seat maps are not dependable indicators of how many tickets the airline has sold. People could have booked a fare without seat selection. Glitches might have prevented advance seat selection (more common with code-share ticketing, less on an airline like EasyJet). And there are always those people who don't even think to plan ahead and book their seats (unfathomable, but true!).

Also, airlines don't really cancel flights on short notice for not hitting sales goals. They're depending on the crew and plane to be in place for its next leg. Rearranging that on short notice is a huge operational headache.

I don't pay extra in order to select a seat on a short, intra-European flight, so one of those apparently-empty seats could definitely end up belonging to another stingy traveler like me.

How do you know only 5 seats have been sold on the EasyJet flight? They are my default airline and I don’t think I have ever been aware how many seats have sold. You do have an idea from the price - if a seat is €25, you know it’s not full.

I never pay for advance seat reservations as I consider it a waste of money - therefore my seat wouldn’t show as sold on the seat reservation plan. We have never had a flight where we haven’t sat together, as we check in 3+ weeks before we fly. We are usually some of the first to check in. Many don’t check in until 2-7 days before the flight.

EasyJet have been cancelling flights recently as their crews have tested positive for Covid, but this has also affected other airlines just as much. They are not in the habit of just cancelling flights if they aren’t full - the return flight maybe full and they need crews in the right place for the next rotation.

On the train to Nice, you cannot know the direction of travel in advance, so seating charts are irrelevant. And if I remember correctly, only first class tickets let you pick a specific seat.
In any case, chances are there will be empty seats after St Raphaël, which is where the scenic bit really begins. If not, just head to the bar car and hang out there until Cannes, it is a short stretch.
Parts of the route between Marseille and Toulon are scenic too, but only briefly so.
