Seating chart for Italian trains, my seats are 36 38, are they together?

Hi,
I am loking to book the Frecciabianca online and for first class the seats they give me are not 36 and 38, are they together? I can't seem to figure out how to ask for seats next to each other. Or find a seating chart. Help!

I think they are. As I remember the even number seats are on one side and odd number on the other. With first class your have 2 and 1 seating so I would assume the seats are together. In our experience seats are always assigned together. Never had any problems. With the low numbers in first class you will not have any problem with seats together.

Hello, fellow OC'r! Below is the address to a page on the Seat 61 website which shows seat maps for various trains. (Sorry, tried to throw a link in, but it wouldn't take it.) Scroll down to the Italian section, and once you find the car you are assigned to, you'll be able to tell if these two are together or not. http://www.seat61.com/train-seat-plans.htm#Italy Hope you have a great trip!

I checked that web site and the Frecciabiana is not listed with a seating chart. Other trains are, but I couldn't find it for my train. Thanks for send it though. Have fun in teh OC!

Ah, my bad! OK, if you haven't purchased your tickets already, you can use the Le Frecce version of Trenitalia and there you can actually pick your own seats. Once you get to the page where you actually choose which departure you want, there will be a some choices below which say "automatic seat assignment" or "pick my own seat" (or something like that!) I used this last year when buying tickets and it worked great. Here's the website... http://www.fsitaliane.it/cms/v/index.jsp?vgnextoid=1d85c6b9455c2210VgnVCM1000003f16f90aRCRD Again, sorry can't link this with that question mark in the URL! Anyways, hope that helps! Eric.

Any time we have bought tickets in one purchase the seats were together. I believe they are numbered with evens on one side and odds on the other in a car with a center aisle. The ES trains in first class have single seats on one side of the aisle and 2 seats on the other. I think you are fine.

Hi Mary. Yes, so long as there are Mini fares available, you can get them on the Le Frecce site.
