SeaTac Delta flyers - check your reservations for big change on departures to Paris in late March

Our late March flight from SEA to Paris was just moved to a new departure time of 6:20pm. Previous departure time was 12:45 pm.

As is typical for me and Delta - no notice sent to me…I’m just a neurotic flight checker:)

I can’t tell the exact day the schedule change takes place - sometime in the third week in March, I think.

Are you using the app? I flew Delta for the first time in years last week. I downloaded the app after booking a few months ago and was getting updates even if the flight was changed by a few minutes.

Thanks for posting the reminder Valerie. I booked last summer for April and had a change early on for my SEA-AMS flight moving it from 5:25P to 6P but no changes since then. Just give me a huger amount of time in SEA but not changing my flight out of Spokane.

I use the Delta app all the time and still do not get notices. I do check every couple of weeks until I'm 2 months out and then check every Sunday AM.

@Allan - devoted app user. No notices for me. Every once in awhile, my partner gets emailed notice of a change. I never get anything. It's definitely random...some people get notice and some don't.

The App that would make a difference here is the Trip-it App. I usually get notifications about flight changes through it long before the airlines tell me.

Wow, that’s a big change; I’m used to that 1pm non-stop from SeaTac to Paris!

I signed up for email notices when I purchased my tickets again from Delta this year. I’ve had a couple of email notices - always makes me dread a moment what’s changed. So far, it’s just been 5-10 minute adjustments.

I haven’t found the Delta app to give me much help on notices, and I also have the TripIt app that does help.

That's interesting that you both get notices thru the Trip-it App before the airline! That is a point in the favor of the app!

I fly out of Spokane first then to SEA...I also got an email that my flight was changed...I was able to fly Spokane to SLC-then direct to Paris -getting in at 9:05am next day...if your wanting to get in earlier-the SLC-CDG flight may work.

As far as Trip It goes, my family was coming here to visit from Germany, flying from Frankfurt. My cousin shared the itinerary with me, and I started getting emails from Trip It with changes. Strange, but convenient.
