Seat Reservations

Hi all, I just purchased Eurail Pass for me and my wife on here, but I understand I have to make seat reservations for certain trains. My itinerary will look like this: From Paris to Interlaken: Paris Lyon We, 18.07.12 dep 10:23 TGV 9211 TGV Basel SBB We, 18.07.12 arr 13:26 9 Transfer time 33 min. Basel SBB We, 18.07.12 dep 13:59 10 ICE 375 Interlaken Ost We, 18.07.12 arr 15:57 7 From Interlaken to Venice: Interlaken Ost Sa, 21.07.12 dep 08:00 7 ICE 276 Spiez Sa, 21.07.12 arr 08:21 2 Transfer time 15 min. Spiez Sa, 21.07.12 dep 08:36 3 IC 810 Brig Sa, 21.07.12 arr 09:11 3 Transfer time 33 min. Brig Sa, 21.07.12 dep 09:44 4 EC 37 Eurocity Venezia Santa Lucia Sa, 21.07.12 arr 14:40 From Venice to Rome: Venezia Santa Lucia Mo, 23.07.12 dep 08:57 ES 9413
Roma Termini Mo, 23.07.12 arr 12:40 I think, the only trains I need to make the seat reservations for are, TGV, Eurocity (Brig-Venezia), and Eurostar, right?? Also, what would be the best way to make reservations for those and which seats would be the best for my family? (my wife, myself, and a 2 year-old toddler) I really appreciate all of your helps in advance !!!

All trains in Italy EXCEPT the regional trains require reservations. All seats are pretty much the same. Are you using a 2nd class or 1st class pass? You can easily make your reservations after arriving in Europe.

Well I heard TGV gets reserved pretty quickly so I wanted to get it all talen care of in advance. I was planning on using SNCF for TGV and trenitalia for Eurostar, but where would I make the reservation for Eurocity (Brig to Venice)? Thanks!!

You can reserve the EC train on SBB/FSS As for the TGVs, you are right: they have tightened their quotas for passholders, reserve ASAP.
