Does anyone have any experience with choosing seat assignments ahead of time on BA? Apparently, you do not get a seat assignment until you check in online 24 hours before the flight. However, you can pay to get an assignment ahead of time. My husband and I are travelling with our 2 young children(3 & 7) and don't want to take the chance of being separated. BA says that if you're travelling with children they will choose your seats 3 days ahead. Just wondering if anyone knows if its worth it to pay? Will there be any groups of 4 seats together left even 3 days ahead or do most people just wait and get their seat when they check in?
