I have to change planes in Amsterdam for a flight back to the US. Is there any guide for Schiphol similar to Easy CDG? Thanks!
There are the maps on the airport's web site: https://www.schiphol.nl/en/airport-maps/
Maybe not quite what you're looking for, but Schiphol is nowhere near as large as CDG. We transferred there to and from the US last year, and it seemed pretty easy.
Schiphol is great - if I had to choose a European transit airport for a flight to/from the US, Schiphol would probably be my first choice.
Yes, Amsterdam Schipol is easy, basically a single terminal with out-of-Schengen flights on one end with a passport control point between them. Just follow the signs to your connecting gate.
Schiphol is a dream compared with CDG. Are you flying on one itinerary with just a change of planes at AMS or are you on separate itineraries requiring you to retrieve checked luggage and then check those bags for a flight to the US?
Claimed to be the third busiest European airport, it is a snap to navigate. The only aspect I found surprising....I couldn't find any signage written in a language other than English.
No, it's one itinerary. I just like to know where I'm going in advance. I have a 3-hour layover, so assuming all goes well, I should have plenty of time.
There is a casino there too, so have a chance to pay for your vacation, or travel home broke.

Oh good. You can also pick up airport maps when you arrive. Very easy to navigate. http://www.amsterdam-advisor.com/schiphol-airport-map.html
Sam.... you made my day! 😀
My last connection through AMS was before the security corridor reconfiguration. AMSwas well signed. Going with the flow and following signage makes for pretty straignt forward connections. I didn't need any terminal maps. The Dutch are efficent making AMS one of my preferred connection hubs in Europe.
The only thing I would add about Schiphol is that in switching from domestic to international you go through a passport check, same if you go back to domestic, so if there is anything you want to do before crossing over, do it before passport control.
Also, with many flights back to the US you go through additional security at the gate, and are trapped there, I always hold off until I am ready to board.
