I was wondering if it is worth making our trip slightly longer by going the following route:
Muerren-Lauterbrunnen- Interlaken-Zweisimmen-Montreaux-Geneve-Avignon-Arles. The alternative proposed route is Muerren-Lauterbrunnen-Interlaken-Bern-Geneva-Lyon-Arles.
Any comments or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
How much time would it add to your trip? The section from Zweisimmen to Montreux is indeed lovely, but if you are doing this all in one day, and it adds more than an hour, you might tire of the scenery before you get to your destination.
